Hope in the Lord!

LEAP OF FAITH- www.faithleap.org
When we are afflicted by pain and sorrow, sometimes we feel that God has abandoned us, but we need to remember that God does not abandon us ever. Hope in the Lord!
May the Lord have mercy on us as we are afflicted with pain and sorrow- Let us pray Psalm 9:14-15:
Have mercy on me, LORD; see how my foes afflict me!
You alone can raise me from the gates of death.
Then I will declare all your praises,
sing joyously of your salvation in the gates of daughter Zion.
Psalm 9:14-15
Be strong and wait for the Lord as Psalm 27:14 says:
Wait for the LORD, take courage
be stouthearted, wait for the LORD!
Psalm 27:14
Bless the Lord at all times, as Psalm 31 says:
Blessed be the LORD, who has shown me wondrous love
and been for me a city most secure.
Once I said in my anguish, "I am shut out from your sight."
Yet you heard my plea, when I cried out to you.
Love the LORD, all you faithful.
The LORD protects the loyal, but repays the arrogant in full.
Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD.
Psa 31:22-25
Thank the Lord knowing that He is hearing your plead and will answer “Yes” or “No” or as a teenager says God also says “not yet.” Our prayer is one that concludes with THY WILL BE DONE. We are reminded that when we bring God into our decisions, the conclusion is always good for our salvation:
Blessed be the LORD, who has heard the sound of my pleading.
The LORD is my strength and my shield,
in whom my heart trusted and found help.
So my heart rejoices; with my song I praise my God.
Psalm 28:6-7
Go to daily mass and as you receive the Eucharist ask the Lord for help. Do not stop praying. Pray, pray, pray and wait for the Lord, Know that the Lord will answer in His time and in His will.
If you are in despair- repeat to yourself: “Jesus I trust in You,” knowing that HE is the one who can help you in all of your needs and He is answering your prayers as you enunciate them.
We need to remember that there are times when we cannot walk through a worry or disappointment alone. Reach out to others if you feel you are in despair. Go to your pastor, or to someone who you can trust with your worries. Remember as human being we need each other to walk the road of life and when we have cross to bear we need a Simon to help us carry it. Do not walk alone through pain and sorrow.
You can always email the Prayerline at (faithleap@att.net) and we will pray for you and with you. The intentions in the Prayerline are prayed for daily.
Prayer is talking to God and knowing that He hears us and always answers in His time and in His will. Let me conclude by praying Psalm 102:2-3:
LORD, hear my prayer; let my cry come to you.
Do not hide your face from me now that I am in distress.
Turn your ear to me; when I call, answer me quickly.
Psalm 102:2-3
God always answers our prayers. All we have to do is ask. The answer may come in ways that we cannot see or understand, but Jesus came to give hope to the hopeless. Keep up your hope and keep on praying.
Remember Isaiah 40:31:
"They that hope in the LORD will renew their strength,
they will soar as with eagles' wings;
They will run and not grow weary, walk and not grow faint."
