Let us fast and pray together with the Holy Father John Paul II and religious leaders
meeting in the Vatican this week.

For with YOU is the Fountain of Life

6 LORD, your love reaches to heaven;
your fidelity, to the clouds.
7 Your justice is like the highest mountains;
your judgments, like the mighty deep;
all living creatures you sustain, LORD.
8 How precious is your love, O God!
We take refuge in the shadow of your wings.
9 We feast on the rich food of your house;
from your delightful stream you give us drink.

and in your light we see light.

We need to unite our prayers to those of the Holy Father, John Paul II asking God for World Peace.

Lord Jesus Christ, we vow our heads in reverence and adoration,
asking You to shine Your light of peace and love into the hearts of Your people,
who repented of all the offenses that they have committed
come to you, begging for Your forgiveness.
Guide them, Lord in Your light
so that they may find the way home to You.
Let them dress with the garment of salvation
and protected by Your divine love
may they be able to face the struggles of today,
to see tomorrow as a place of love and hope for all.
Lord, we know that those who hope in You are never disappointed.
Grant us Your peace and heal us of body, mind and spirit.
In your name we pray humbly.
Amen.
