Mustard Seed

“The kingdom of God is like a mustard seed that a person took
and planted in the garden. When it was fully grown, it became a large bush
and the birds of the sky dwelt in its branches.”
Luke 13:18-19

Let us proclaim and help build the kingdom of God here on earth. The kingdom will be perfected in heaven but it began with the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Let us scatter the seeds of love and faith in people’s hearts. Some seeds will grow in good hearts, and others will wither because there is no openness of love or faith in that heart to sustain them.  But our job is to scatter the seeds of God’s love with words and deeds. God will water and fertilize the seed, which in due time to every one’s surprise may sprout.

A mustard seed of kindness planted in someone’s heart can grow to be a tree of goodness which will give the fruit of peace in someone’s home.

”Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”

Phillipians 4:8
