The Day of the Lord is Sunday -The Sabbath, the Day of Rest out of the seven day week.
God tells us to rest on Sunday. He is God and He rested, so can we.
“Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.” Genesis 2:3
Let us gather as family and go to Church and worship together on Sundays. Let us gather with family and friends and celebrate Sunday. Let us avoid labor that can wait for another day: No grocery shopping except when necessary. No shopping period. No children’s games like soccer because we have to teach our children to respect the Sabbath.
Saint John Paul II wrote on May 31, 1998 an Apostolic Letter on Keeping the Lord’s Day Holy. (Dies Domini) – The wisdom and guidance of Saint John Paul II is to be treasured. Read at https://w2.vatican.va/content/john-paul-ii/en/apost_letters/1998/documents/hf_jp-ii_apl_05071998_dies-domini.html
